102-year-old woman declares interest in running for presidency in 2023.
The 102-year-old woman who is the founder of the Voice for Senior Citizens of Nigeria, Mrs Nonye Josephine Ezeanyaeche has declared her willingness to run for the presidency in 2023, if young Nigerians won’t.
She stated this during a visit to the management of the Nigerian Television Authority.
President of the group, Caro Nwosu quoted Ezeanyaeche as saying,
“If Nigerians are shying away from political participation, she says she is ready to contest. She has already prepared a manifesto for herself; she has the vision. If the good ones don’t come out to contest.”
